Summer

Summer is finally upon us which means two things, it's warm and Gabe is finally done with school! It was a crazy busy race to the graduation finish line, but I am proud to say that I am now officially the wife of a UWT grad.

Now that the worries of homework are over, Gabe has focused all his energy on one thing: the bamboo. We have a small forest of bamboo lining our property. In the two years we have lived in this house, there has been nothing but hostility toward the overgrowth taking over the driveway. The other day, I came home and most of the bamboo stalks were laying on a tarp (which took up most of the parking space). Today or tomorrow, Gabe and his brother will be dealing with the remanent and then sending everything through a chipper. I don't really know what we are going to do with the remaining stumps that resemble something off of an Indiana Jones moves. They are dangerous to have around. A few months ago, I popped my truck tire on one of the spears rooted in the ground.
